Day Two: Around City [6 Aug]

안녕하세요.

mike was earli and lucky that we had just finished our breakfast. so we packed our stuff along with passports. off to the QUT kelvin grove campus. mike brought us around, introducing relevant places. we also got our student IDs done along with QUT school email, passwords, etc. we're kind of an "official" QUT student. *cool eh?* then we took the shuttle bus to the QUT gardens point campus. mike introduced us tons of stuffs there. and so ts(tse sing) and eng (from GET course) will be stationed into this campus, building S.

next up. mike brought us around queen street mall. man, it's simply like orchard road, but with lil differences. *this place looks familiar thou, i think i went here before. hmmmm...* with much of this and that. mike left us. and we're on our own.

we made ourselves back to queen street mall for our lunch. lunch? NANDOS, people! *yummy!!* we walked around more. went to places like harvey norman (to get jo's card reader), visitors' information booth, borders, etc. did you know that the new book "breaking dawn" by stephenie meyers was out of stock ALREADY? and it was released on 4 Aug! man, i wanted to buy the book. shucks! *i shall go again. hehe* this and that, we got on the shuttle bus back to accomodation. we&jo went to the woolworths to get some ingredients for dinner, while the rest check out the laundry area, etc.

dinner was made by the guys. hehe. they got hungry and made dinner. *i didnt know so, so i came and see that they already started to try to cook* seriously, it was rather amusing seeing them cook. hahaha! *hey, i can cook better. imagine that! not booasting thou* however, dinner was nice. it turned out not bad. yay!

p/s: during their mmt of "cooking", suddenly the fire alarm was triggered (coincidentally) and everyone from the block had to evacuate. omg. there was a total mmt of panic and ????. haha! and fire-engines, and ambulance arrived like within 5minutes after the alarm. it was quick! the guys were wondering if it was them who triggered the alarm. haha! but news came out that it was a false alarm. hahaha! *relief* but man, i just had to forget my camera at that time. could have taken pictures of that "funny" mmt, really. people were wearing pajama's (i was wearing my froggy pajama's pants), covered in big blankets, coz it was damn cold! we were freezing while waiting for the firemen to check out what was wrong. hahaha.. a really a mmt to remember.

tomorrow, ts & eng had to meet mike at the GP campus. and me&jo&raph will go on around city, taking photos! hoho.
