Day Seven: First Day

안녕하세요.

first day of internship/work/attachment, as what you want to call it. i'll just refer it as internship.

me&jo&raph went out earli.. a lil too earli for me! they didnt say they wanted to catch the 9.20am bus. i thought we would get the 9.35am bus. i ended up eating my breakfast as i walked to the bus-stop. a chilly morning~ at the QUT ISI building, we kind of got stuck outside cause our cards weren't accessible yet. after awhile, we got in. glenn, the lab manager helped us around, intro us some stuffs. then, we met jason who is our 2nd LO, 1st being Andrew, who was away. got into our scope and stuffs and so. had nice normal rice as lunch. basically we did a lot of reading up today. nothing much hands-on. quite a bore, reading thou~ i almost fell asleep while reading the 42-page MP report by a post-graduate on virtualization network, etc.

by the time we end, it was 5.30pm and the outside looks like its 10PM!!! like seriously. it's scary to see it so dark~ i pre-bought my dinner, cause i wanted meat MEAT, so bought take-away a large chicky kebab~ went woolworths again. i didnt helped out much in dinner-making, as i got my dinner prepared (kebabs yo~). i just helped with marinated the fishy and peel the potatoes~ dinner was totally filling and had fresh strawberries&cherries~

oh! we even bought ICE CREAM (billabong branded - caramel&strawberry), okay, it's more like i made them get it.. cause there's caramel ice cream yo~ yummy!

p/s: sorry not much pictures today.. and maybe so will the next few intern days too~

p/s 2: i think im going to be online only *almost* every SG time: 6.30PM-9.30PM (weekdays).. i do miss peopl here.. do try find me online and chat with me yeah~

(where in Singapore is it safe so that we could sit at the side of the roads while waiting for the bus~ cool or what*)
